Erika Eleniak was born in Glendale, California, birthplace of countless entertainers, including her dear friend Nicole Eggert. She is the eldest daughter from a family of four girls and one boy. Her father was from Edmonton, Alberta in Canada. She's of Canadian, Ukrainian, Estonian and German ancestry.
Eleniak attended Robert Fulton Junior High in Van Nuys, Los Angeles and graduated from Van Nuys High School, where she enjoyed being a cheerleader. She took acting classes early in life and worked in theatre, television, radio and film (including an early appearance in Steven Spielberg's 1982 science-fiction fantasy 'E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial'). Upon becoming an adult, Eleniak shocked her friends and family when she was selected to become a 'Playboy' model aged 19.
Eleniak achieved stardom when she secured a recurring role on the television smash 'Baywatch', a muscular showcase for triple-time tv titan David Hasselhoff. So popular was she with the show's fans, her status as a regular was minted. In cinema, Eleniak has continued a lifelong quest to work in genre entertainment, with crime, science-fiction, fantasy and horror at the forefront. A motivational speaker, acting teacher, animal rights advocate and substance abuse youth worker, the multi-talented Eleniak now enjoys a reputation in Canada for being one of the most kind and generous people in show business, having made the country her home ...

It's such a tight, well executed action movie, probably my favourite with Steven Seagal. I find the sequel enjoyable too, 'Under Siege 2 : Dark Territory' (1995).

The director of Under Siege managed to get a good performance out of Seagal by reducing his screen time. It sure seemed like Tommy Lee Jones and company had more to do.
This insanity is so logical. There's a sprinkler system where they're being held. The fo'c's'le. Hit a button, it starts to flood. In a short time, they'll all drown. Ryback will kill himself to save them.
You're a maniac. Drowning your own crew.
They never liked me anyway.
Bet they fucking love you now.
