So Catman was getting dinner ready and realized he didn't have quite enough salad. Now there's a Walmart within walking distance, but Catman decided he was in a hurry and drove over. Grabbed the salad mixed, paid, and was leaving the parking lot when the idiot in front of him decided she needed to think which direction to go. Before she made up her mind, a guy in an SUV backed out and took the bumper off Catman's car.
Fortunately, the guy was cool about it and took full responsibility. Took a while for the cop to show up to take the information for an accident report, but once he got there, he just needed a short while to get all the paperwork in order. The guy with the SUV had some packing tape, and that held the bumper on until Catman got home. But then Catman couldn't find his driver's license ... turns out Catman had dropped it in the parking lot. Good thing no one else spotted it before Catman got back there and picked it up.
Tomorrow Catman gets to go to the body shop for an estimate.
Yay.
