None, he should have been CGI motion capture. Fox had shown they had that capability with their Planet of the Apes franchise, but for some reason, they liked placing their comic book characters in cheap Halloween costumes and prosthetics (Beast, Thing, Juggernaut, Apocalypse, etc.).

Kelsey Grammer. One of the best casting choices in the whole film franchise and so sorely underused...

No way. CGI characters suck. New Planet of the Apes doesn't work for me from a visual standpoint. I love make-up. Costumes and prosthetics looked terrific in the X-Men movies. Beast always looked great, in all 5 movies.

Beast always looked great, in all 5 movies. That may be your preference, even if you are slightly biased and an apologist towards these films. However, as we've seen countless times, the technology that exists today for performance capture CGI characters can easily wipe the floor with actors stuffed into cheap costumes and performance-limiting prosthetic makeup. You may be fine with a bodybuilder covered in green paint, but that ain't the Hulk from the comic books. I'll take highly praised CGI characters like Caesar and Thanos over teen-wolf Beast and Ivan Ooze-Apocalypse any day. Even Fox realized their mistake when they finally gave fans what they wanted with a fully-realized Juggernaut in Deadpool 2. These characters deserve to be translated faithfully from a visual standpoint.
I will say though that Kelsey Grammer was the perfect casting for Beast.

Said that, I hate the CGI capturing motion, because it still looks crappy and shitty for most of the time. Even Thanos and Hulk are still IFFY as hell, and sometimes cartoonish. Sorry. Beast's make-up in all 5 movies is always great-looking and plausible. Said that, I love Hoult's ape form

Said that, maybe you didn't watch the movies? He walked on 4 limps in Apocalypse as well as Dark Phoenix. Ape doesn't necessarily means "monkey" LOL.

As in, you need panels to make frames. When the CBM craze finally dies down - the panel will still be here. Hope those blu-rays keep you warm at night.

There will only be blu-rays left for all of us, kid. Even you, MCU fanboy. LOL People will still buy X-Men movies, as well as comedic crap like Iron Man 3, Thor 3 or Guardians 2 or Rocket Racoon 4. People buy anything nowadays, good movies and bad movies. And movies are always aired on nationwide TVs, you know. Nobody is gonna forget the X-Men movies, deal with it. Make your life less complicated. Hate is not the solution.

Dude, are you just copy and pasting? Cause this is a word for word regurgitation of your old posts. If you want, we can work on some new material for your routine together. And why are you telling me what kind of pornography I should enjoy? That sounds like a homophobic remark, I never judged you over that dwarf stuff.
