Since his start was in this field, my late beautiful precious Billy Joe Royal is my pick.
God bless you and his family always!!!

The Moody Blues, Ronnie James Dio and the Cars, for starters. What are your picks? IMPO ( and if it were ever possible but sadly I doubt it ? ) - Howard Jones and if they haven't already been like they should have been over 5 or 10 years ago when the online petitions were being acknowledged - The Monkees . Again IMPO - Unfortunately in these very recent times I don't put much faith in these award organizations anymore because it seems it just doesn't deliver on the proper acknowledgements . Although all very good choices here pippinmaniac and thanks for your subject post .

It would be nice for the fans of these artists to see them honored. However, I don't think it matters as much to the artists themselves. Keep being a fan, buy their music, discover other artists as well. Music will endure longer than any Hall of Fame. I just wish that Chris Squire would have still been alive to receive the honor with Yes. He was my pick for all-time best bass player in rock and roll.

Every band that would want to be in such a craptastic celebration of mediocrity and banality. Brian fucking Adams, or Dire Strait.

I can't believe Pearl Jam was inducted before Soundgarden.

Among some of those previous listed, I'd like to see Iron Maiden make it. Been making great music and selling out arenas all over the world for like 35+ years now.
