The use of "Satisfaction" in Apocalypse Now...fit perfectly w/the war time frame.
Also, I would mention the tune "The End" by the Doors in the same film played at the beginning of the film to indicate the end...

Time is on my side in Fallen (1996) is quite effective during the movie. Sympathy for the devil during the credits is fitting also.
