My all time favorite Rhoda line : [staring at a piece of candy she is about to eat] Rhoda Morgenstern says : I don't know why I should even bother to eat this. I should just apply it directly to my hips. BAT, that's amazing. I quote that line at least once or twice a year--for reasons that should be obvious as time marches on--and it's MY favorite Rhoda Morgenstern line, too. I will miss her!

ellynmacgThanks to re-runs on the olde timey show channels we will forever have that wonderful ensemble cast to spend time with. It's one of those shows that always gets a stop and watch when channel surfing. The writing and delivery were so great and Rhoda was such a character of a character !

Stardom came with television, including four Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe for her work in The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970) and Rhoda (1974), in which the latter she played the title role. Harper won Harvard's Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year, and her Rhoda's Wedding episode set that 1974's ratings record. Since retiring Rhoda Morganstern to re-runs, Harper was active on stage and in movies. WTG ! Valerie tied with Sally Struthers in 1972 in the best supporting actress in a comedy category.

Does anyone know where Valerie's final resting place is located? Wiki doesn't say.
And I hope more celebrities attend her funeral than did MTM's.
As I said on another post, MeTV will be holding a tribute in her memory today at 5:00 PM EDT. The network's website is also having a tribute.

And I hope more celebrities attend her funeral than did MTM's. Mary Tyler Moore Buried in Private Funeral Service at Connecticut Cemetery By Nicholas Hautman January 29, 2017 Mary Tyler Moore was laid to rest during a private funeral service at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield, Connecticut, on Sunday, January 29, 2017. The Connecticut Post reported that the cemetery was closed to the public as the late TV actress, who died at the age of 80 on Wednesday, January 25, was buried during an 11 a.m. ceremony attended by approximately 50 close friends and family members.
The funeral for Valerie Harper .. was also a private one attended by invited friends and family. The location of her final resting place can be learned by googling "Valerie Harper Funeral".
