My top 10 of 1998 1. The Thin Red Line 2. Celebrity 3. Wag the Dog 4. Ronin 5. Great Expectations 6. Blade 7. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels 8. Antz 9. U.S. Marshals 10. X Files only one of which is in your 20 I actually like all 20 of mine quite a bit. I hate Celebrity, Wag the Dog is 1997, Great Expectations put me to sleep, Blade and Lock, Stock and Antz are good but miss the cut and U.S. Marshals and X-Files are very average - though the latter could use a rewatch. I skipped it when I did my X-Files marathon. Most of the movies I listed I rate 7.5/10 or higher. My taste is just a bit more diverse this year.

I disagree - I think it may be the best year of the 1990s.
I went with The Thin Red Line, Central Station (my top 2 of the year), Pleasantville and Slums of Beverly Hills (both in my top 10).

Of those you mentioned I haven't seen Croupier, The Legend of 1900, SLC Punk or The Opposite of Sex. I do like Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas though and the latter is probably my #21.
