I made fun of people who were excited for a Todd Phillips movie all year. Maybe I owe an apology and this might be a perfect example of when it doesnβt work out, try, try, try again (Todd has made TWELVE shitty movies.)

Hell, at this point, maybe Adam McKay can direct a better Justice League movie.

Wow, a lot of hot and cold there. You have some critics saying things like "the best social horror film since Get Out", and others calling it flatout "garbage".

Iβm genuinely surprised it would get that much. Maybe itβll be great after all.

Oh boy, here we go.
An added twist to this development is some Rotten Tomatoes shenanigans. ComicBook pointed out at least one instance of a critic's 3/5 Joker review being considered "rotten," when that same critic's 3/5 reviews for Spider-Man: Far From Home and Avengers: Endgame were "fresh.

that's 60% so that's borderline , so no issue, but weird when see a 3.5/5 or C+ as rotten

Seems like critics who positively reviewed this movie really loved it for the most part.
Hopefully it doesn't disappoint because this movie is one I've been eagerly anticipating since they announced Scorsese was going to be a producer.

78%?! That's low for a movie where people are tossing around the words "Oscar nomination". I thought the trailers looked great and there's all kind of buzz about, but that's a low rating for such praise.

Green Book won last year with 78%, Oscars don't care about woke critics hating for bullshit political reasons

Am I living in the Twilight Zone? Everything I've seen for this movie looks 100% absolutely awful. What are all these people seeing that I'm not?
