Never really thought of it that way. Were there any clues in the oldest text we could find that would indicate whether he was one or the other? What was the greek term for someone who specifically worked wood or made furniture out of wood.

I followed the link and it said the page doesn't exist. I've heard before that He was a stonemason and not a carpenter. Is there any solid evidence that He was either? Or is it just assumed that Joseph passed on his trade, whatever it was?

He was called a carpenter in Mark 6 and a carpenter's son in Matthew.
The article for some reason assumes Joseph and Jesus were building homes rather than furniture.

He was both a carpenter and a stonemason.

If it can be established that Jesus was a stonemason, it would give the secret handshake boys more of a pedigree.

Did not have sex with children like Mohammad did? His mother was a child...by today’s standards.

They also could have been building boats. Maybe that’s how he really became acquainted with Simon Peter and the fishermen. Jesu grew up in Nazeruth which wasn’t a fishing a town so he likely built other wooden items. It’s possible but the closest large body of water was several hours away. He met a lot of his apostles in Capernaum which was a fishing town and where a good half of his apostles lived and where he spent most of his preaching. If the word is a vague description of a craftsman I guess he could be anything but I assume things based on location and circumstance.

If he were a stonemason the theory would be dead in the water. well he didn’t meet people on the basis of occupation. Matthew was a tax collector and there may have been a shepherd or two in the mix. He used examples from all preofessions too. In the end his initial occupation before baptism would be irrelevant except to address the notion he may have been a lazy bum.

Did not have sex with children like Mohammad did? His mother was a child...by today’s standards. which means that by belief in the holy trinity he did sleep with children and so did his dad
