Unlike so many folks here, and in general, I can admit when I've been wrong. And I've maybe never been more wrong about anything sports-related as I was about Vince Young. After watching him in college, and especially that Rose Bowl, I thought he was gonna be the next Joe Montana. I really did...... And I thought basically the same thing about Matt Leinart. Thought he was a sure thing. I thought JaMarcus Russell would be Cam.

Now that he's bankrupt and penniless, I wonder if the real owners let him eat there?

Dude had a mental breakdown when the Titans fans booed him when the Jaguars came to town. Immaturity, unable to evolve to situations or handle his problems. Dude needs to try wiping the slate clean and starting over fresh. Poor kid was just chewed up by the biz.

Dude needs to try wiping the slate clean and starting over fresh. Poor kid was just chewed up by the biz. He tried making a comeback at one point. I think it was the season the Packers were on like their 3rd or 4th string QB and they signed Vince Young. Didn't last long. Think it was the year they had Seneca Wallace too. Google Search shows 2013. Also Google showed me this: www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/texas-fires-legendary-ex-quarterback-vince-young-from-part-time-job-with-longhorns/Apparently he was working with the Texas Longhorns on a part time gig and was fired as recently as this past March. Never knew. Apparently he's still dealing with his own issues with 2 past DWI's.

The Bills signed him in 2012 and people got excited . He couldn’t beat out Tavaroius Jackson or Tyler Thigpen to back up Fitzpatrick

He wasn't very bright. Think the NFL game was just light years above what he was accustomed to at Texas and he couldn't make the jump. If memory serves - didn't he get in trouble a bit too? He always kind of looked a bit out of shape too. Think he went to the pros and with that 'potential' you speak of - thought he could have just coasted and not put the work in - i.e. see Johnny Football. Wasn't he part of the "dream team" with Michael Vick in Philly? If memory serves - Young may even have been the one to coin the term 'Dream Team' for that Eagles team.
