As worried as I am about the choice for Stan in many ways it could be a brilliant stroke of casting Akin to the casting regarding Dano within Batman, an odd choice who doesn't really fit anywhere ultimately serving as a parallel to a character like The Riddler. |

Seriously, find a picture of where she's smiling and tell me she doesn't look like she's thinking about killing someone. I can only think of one movie in which she smiles, that awful Pan. And she looks creepy smiling in that. Its too bad because I genuinely think she's talented and attractive. But she gives me the heebies a little. LOL Maybe that's whey she was so good in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

The difference with Rooney and Carey Mulligan is that we haven't seen Carey smile because her roles haven't really called for it. But I have seen her smile sometimes, and lots in candids. Whereas Rooney is almost always very morose. To be completely fair I have seen Rooney smile in candids, but I'm telling you, there's something vacant there. Maybe she's really shy? Or she thinks being serious is cool? Her sister is the same too, though not as bad. Maybe it just runs in the family?
