The January release date is a concern. Isn't January usually a dumping ground for bad movies from a studio? Didn't the previous Bad Boys films come out in May or near the summer season?

Not sure if they can make a worse film than Bad Boys 2, but it looks like they've tried. The studio has so much confidence in this project that they've given it a January release date.
