Seems to be the latest trend.
Probably to appeal to their old fans who watched their careers when they were younger and something the old fossils can relate to.
Traveling around.

The latest examples are:
About Schmidt - Jack Nicholson
Nebraska - Bruce Dern
The Leisure Seeker - Donald Sutherland/Helen Mirren.

Any others?
And which ones are the best?
I find Schmidt the least boring.
