The Exorcist, because it is too effective, it is genuinely frightening, no other film has affected me in quite the same way, it taps into true evil and left a shaken, I doubt I will ever watch it again. It is so odd when I hear people say their reaction to this film is one of laughter.

The Green Mile (1999) - Great film, but way too depressing.
Prometheus (2012) - Ridley Scott attempt to milk the franchise he played a huge role in creating for all it's worth, paying enormous disrespect to the 1979 film in the process. No thank you.
