I said The Mask just because it's the one I'm most familiar with.

The only movie in the poll I didn't care for was "Batman Forever."
Was ultimately a tossup between "Cable Guy" and "Dumb and Dumber." I went with "Dumb and Dumber" because I really enjoyed the friendship between Harry and Lloyd. Jim Carrey is a difficult presence to act in sync with because he's so huge. Jeff Daniels pulled it off big time and what we get is a 1+1=3 scenario. Excellent comedy.
Big Jim Carrey fan since the "In Living Color"days (if you don't know what I'm talking about, check out Fire Marshall Bill for starters). The guy has excellent range and I love seeing him in roles where he's acting alongside someone who can keep up.
I should also say that "Man on the Moon" is absurdly underrated. One of my favorite movies. I like to think the real Tony Clifton watched it in a crappy old theatre in Reno and walked out happy.

I'm not gonna vote because I've never seen Truman Show or Man on the Moon but I can't stand any of his 90's movies that I've seen. At the time when I was a child I remember thinking they were funny but watching them now as an adult? Jim Carrey comedies just don't hold up to me at all they're so dumb and bad. Out of the ones I have seen the one I hate the least would probably be Batman Forever. Jim Carrey is a lot like Adam Sandler for me. At one time he may have been great to me but now? His stuff isn't even watchable.

The Truman Show Is the best of those options. It is quite tragically outdated these days, but I still like it because of its tone and because of the actors and because of its reflection of our current society.

Toss up between Ace Ventura, Dumb & Dumber, and The Mask. 1994 really belonged to him and he was at the top of his game.
Don't give up the fight for truly independent cinema!
