I'm off to buy an electric saw from Screwfix in a bit (I'm not lazy, my heart failure is making manual sawing really hard going now, and I like to make shit).
I'm leaning towards a jigsaw as it gives me non-linear options, and does wood and metal.
Anyone reckon a circular saw is a better option?

It all depends on what you want to do. I make bass guitars, mostly with hand tools, but sometimes I want things to go faster, so I bought a jigsaw. But if you want good straight lines, you need a circular saw.

I have a bass uke I occassionally plug in to the old Fender Rumble and have a play with, badly I might add π

Use 'rubber' strings... Metal isn't deep enough on a uke.

I'll remember that, narrower blades for curves, top tip π

Use 'rubber' strings... Metal isn't deep enough on a uke. Im going to use the BEAD strings of a 5 string set. And rubber isnt much use on a normal pick up.

I thought this thread was about the horror franchise - which is still loads of fun to this day Apparently Chris Rock is rebooting it

On acoustics and ukes they put on piezo pick ups, they are microphonic.
