Lethal Weapon is my favorite movie of 1987 and Lethal Weapon 2 is my favorite movie of 1989. If I had to choose I would go with the the first.

the first movie as that's a 7.5-8/10 where as the rest are 6/10's. so it's no contest. something is missing from the 2nd on forward that the first movie has.
