meanwhile
in the kingdom of the heart
the kids
decided to depart
from
their normal nap time ritual
to lay out a map
of the united states habitual
attempts to circumvent
human dignity
while scapegoating every
not yet known form
of convoluted dichotomy
to see
if it was plausible
to truly be
that arrogant
all the while constructing a fence
that would just
as easily
block
the sadder than sad jock
within the minds
of a nation so steeped
in perpetuating sin
that the only thing left for
any god to do
was foist his play pretend
to another galaxy where
no one has to die
for everyone to eventually win.
