to me, Batman Returns is the only clear masterpiece here, and captures the actual style and what's good about Batman much more than Nolan's efforts (though those are still very good movies). To me Batman has always been a dark fairytale, an urban tragedy-fantasy, rather than a "gritty" crime flick with a guy in a suit.

Batman v Superman
but ill assume people will default to either Batman (1989) or The Dark Knight (2008). Batman (1989) does not hold up as i actually like the 1992 movie more as i slightly like that one unlike the 89 movie.
