Does it even mention it?
It mentions adultery if I recall, but not rape. I think the concept of rape became more of a crime in the last century or so as women got rights. Women and kids were considered property.
Also, in ancient times if you wanted justice, you had to get it yourself as opposed to the state automatically doing it. If you were rich, you got justice; poor not so much.

No. The rapists are shown in a negative light in the Holy Bible. Eg: Amnon raping his half sister Tamar; those judges who threatened to rape Susanna, etc.

A man who rapes a woman who has no one to provide for her is forced to provide for her the rest of her life... And, no... the woman isn't forced to live with the man to become some sort of weird sex-slave.. He's just kept alive to provide for her existence.

Yes. And abortion. The massacre of children too. Although the massacre of children was accepted in the primitive world as was human sacrifice, the Bible has a clear record of developing an opposition to it. When "God" slaughtered children that took what was ordinary work for soldiers in those days out of their hands. It gave them an excuse not to participate. So it is terribly unfair of you to blame the Bible for the slaughter of children. It is also a poor reflection on your reading abilities.

Would you care if it did? Of course I would. Why, do you think I wouldn’t? Some folk get uptight about non-PC stuff in older material. Like the Bond books which suggest chickz like "semi-rape". 😇
