See this brought up a lot in the gun/anti-gun discussions, does ANYBODY here agree with it? Funnily enough, none of these people say 'police should only use mace/a taser when they are dealing with violent criminals'. But oh, it'll so totally work for the innocent civilian who has to deal with those same violent criminals in the 20 minutes before the cops get there to help, right? But no, if it's cops, oh they can have guns because THEIR lives will be in danger, but they should just shoot him in the leg and that'll work.

If your life is in danger it's common sense a gun is your best option to save your life. only a stupid person would try to argue otherwise.
the hell with those more anti-gun types of people as this is the USA at the end of the day. to be totally anti-gun is pretty much anti-american in my mind.

And if they're on drugs, it might as well be a bug bite. The possible outcomes of a taser are too over the place to seriously be used as your only line of defense.
