Raptors 11 straight wins. Raptors have been pretty great all year. You would have thought with Kawhi leaving, that would have set them back, but they are showing everyone something quite different. And an excellent road team as well.

What happened in that Celtics/Sixers game last night? My tv broke, so I missed it. We decided to let you have one game in this seasons series - I mean we couldn't have went 4-0 against you could we - what type of 'rivalry' would that be? I actually spent about $3 grand this weekend. I went to Boston and partied all weekend. I went to the Sixers and Celtics game and sat 8 rows from the court. It was awful. They did not show up and showed no heart at all.

C's looking to acquire Clint Capela. The Houston Rockets grabbed a win over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night at Toyota Center. In the process, they became the first team to play an entire game without a player listed taller than 6-foot-6 since the New York Knicks in 1963. Houston played their small-ball lineup after their usual starting center Clint Capela was sidelined due to a bruised heel. Their tallest starter was forward Danuel House Jr., who is listed at 6’6″.

Heat lose Herro and Leonard, but stretch the 2nd half lead vs the slow Sixers from 4 to 21. Only 1 TO with 6 min to go.

Wonder what changes are going to be made by the deadline. An unbalanced team and the pieces don't fit (Brand's fault) - and a coach who can't seem to motivate this team/make the pieces fit/play players in the proper schemes/matchups so they succeed - curious if Harris/Brand are so bold that Brown is gone .
Tobias Harris - 6 pts - $180 million
Al Horford - 6 pts - $109 million
Need to grab a combo guard who can run the halfcourt offense and hit a shot from the outside and a shooting 3&D wing at the deadline.
9-18 on the road - that is abysmal for a team that was supposed to compete for the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Bulls will take Horford off your hands, and gift wrap you Zack Levine. And all it will take are your first round picks for 2023, 2025, and 2027. Or perhaps you are Shania Twain? And his 25, 4 , 5 don't impress you much?

Raptors fans panicking it's Masai on deck. He'd have to be given creative control to the nth degree to work for Dolan.

Hawks get: Capela, Nene
Wolves get: Malik Beasely, Juan Hernangomez, Evan Turner, Vanderbilt, 2020 1st Rounder via Nets (lottery protected)
Nuggets get: Gerald Green, Bates-Diop, Napier, Vonleh, 2020 1st Round Pick (via Rockets)

So brief us about Covington. I guess he was with your team for some part of last year and before that?

So brief us about Covington. I guess he was with your team for some part of last year and before that? We had our eyes on him too - but didn't have the assets to get him back - apparently Mike Scott, Zhaire Smith and a couple of 2nd Rounders wasn't good enough.
I miss him. 3&D wing. He's as streaky as they come.
I've seen him go like 0-10 from beyond the arc and he just keeps gunning and gunning and gunning. But it's like they say with all shooters - shooters gotta shoot - i.e. just keep shooting in order to break out of your slump.
I've seen him incredibly hot from beyond the arc too - he's streaky - that's the best way to describe him.
He's pretty much a catch and shoot player - i.e. - he can't break down a defender in isolation and don't expect him to take the ball to the hoop - maybe he grew a little bit in these areas as a T'Wolve - but this is what we got here in Philly.
I think some people here expected too much of him at times - to me he would have been a great 6th man (just like Saric) - I think a lot of people expected him here to develop his game a bit more and keep growing his game - i.e. in Iso and taking the ball to the hoop.
He's a great defender. A good player. Pretty much catch and shoot from beyond the arc and terrific defender.
Wouldn't have minded getting him back by tomorrow's deadline at 3.

I actually spent about $3 grand this weekend. I went to Boston and partied all weekend. I went to the Sixers and Celtics game and sat 8 rows from the court. It was awful. They did not show up and showed no heart at all. Couldn't have been that bad, sounds like you had good seats to watch the best team in the NBA. 👍 I was not really impressed, honestly. I loved the city of Boston. I was blown away by how cool it was and how good the food was. However, the stadium was no nicer than Wells Fargo Center. In fact, I say Wells Fargo Center was probably the better overall venue. There are pros and cons for both. I do not say this as some hater either. Wells Fargo Center is not a good venue at all to me. It is bland there. I went to American Airlines Arena a few times and it was incredible. Blew both of these venues away. I did like how the TD Garden was right in the middle of a neighborhood though. It was not a grand stadium spectacle in the middle of a giant parking lot, like most. It was just an old building in the middle of the block. It kind of fit the city perfectly. I went to Fenway just to see it. I drank at the attached bar. That was a nice pace, even if older.
