Ben Simmons is the best player on the Sixers. I'm starting to buy into the trade Embiid argument. I'll give Simmons this - One of the things I like about him is he's always professional in the media. He rarely if ever shows his cards in terms of if he's having a bad day, is down, is up - etc - he's just even keel and steady as a rock in terms of his personality and demeanor. Unlike Embiid - who this year more than ever is a sulking baby with a depressed look on his face as if somebody just stole his lunch money - and in turn airs it out in the media that he's not himself because he's not having fun and now the losing is wearing on him. This teams body language is horrendous. Winning cures that - but it doesn't look like they're having fun out there or enjoy playing with each other.

Clippers and Sixers rumored to have interest in Marcus Morris.
Would be an upgrade over Mike Scott.
Thinking Scott and Zhaire Smith would be going out - maybe a 2nd round pick or two.
Rather include Scott, Smith, a couple of second round picks and Al Horford for a combo guard - think it's going to be hard to move that Horford contract though.

Wiz knock off the Celts.
Davis Bertans rumored to be on the block from the Wiz - he's an elite 3 point shooter.
Cheap contract too - rumors have it the Lakers are one of a handful that have their eyes on him - apparently Kyle Kuzma is now on the trading block too.

Anthony Davis has declined a max extension offer.
The max he could sign right now is for 4 years - by entering free agency in July - he can sign a max of 5 years.
Davis to miss the next 2 games with a lower back injury.

But it's my understanding by waiting until free agency - he could also sign for 1 more year and get more money - so there's that chance he could still just re-sign with the Lakers for more money and an extra year. For some reason I'm getting the feeling he's a primadonna all about himself and likes a change of scenery every couple of years - kind of like how I think Kawhi is also going to bolt the Clips after next year. No real sense of 'team' - he's an individual all about himself and just will roam wherever as long as the money is right for a short amount of time then it's onto the next team/contract. Or maybe he will sign a long term contract somewhere (go home to Chicago?) looking for stability being it may be the last large contract he could sign. What do I know.

Let's say the Clips disappoint for the 2 years he's there - and the Lakers and LeBron win the title both years. I think the feeling towards him in L.A. would be that he disappointed and underwhelmed and didn't give the fans what they wanted - especially with all the load managements sitting out regular season games - then to fail in the playoffs. Be an interesting story if he went back to Toronto in 2 years stating he missed it and made a mistake and Toronto was now home.

Been reading he's seeking more doctor's opinions on his 'dislocated finger'. Wonder if a tendon was torn / there was ligament damage and it may require surgery which is why he's seeking other opinions on the injury. It's his non shooting hand. This sounds dirty - but I actually like this. i.e. he sits for 2 months plus and just goes on a cardio regime to get in tip top shape for the playoffs. He comes back prior to the playoffs and gets load managed a bit prior to the playoffs and then is completely fresh for a playoff run and ready to dominate.

Porzingis ruled out for the next 2 games.
Uh-oh.
He's been out since New Years Eve with Right Knee Soreness and is now receiving injections.
Was averaging around 17ppg. A shame - would like to see the Mavs and Luka/Porzingis surprise a team or two in the playoffs.
