I think the movie I posted might be too unknown so I’m just gonna go ahead and say what it is. The name of the movie is Freak Out from 2004, and I didn’t really realize how obscure it is until I looked at the number of votes on IMDb. Sorry about that. All the other movies I had in mind would have been too easy so I picked a harder one, not realizing that most horror fans probably haven’t even heard of it. My bad. I think that's OK. I would have been able go figure it out if I had done a little bit of research based on your clues, but I've never seen it or heard of it. Oh okay cool. And yeah, I don’t think many people have heard of it. |

Just watched the trailer, which appeared to just be the first 3 mins of the movie... seems ultra low budget, but your description of the plot sounds kinda fun. Anyway, are you going again? |

Okay, so I cheated a little bit since I looked at the back of all my Italian horror DVDs, and it looks like it must be Absurd (1981). It’s been a while since I watched that so it’s not very fresh in my mind but the back of the case has a picture very similar to one of the ones you posted.

I’ll have to give it a rewatch soon since I barely remember anything about it. It’s been years since I last saw it. I remember enjoying it though.
