Wow, I don't remember a little mini box monster in Phantasm at all. Must have been a long time since you saw it. It has indeed. A few years ago I watched the whole series and they all sorta blended together, largely because the plot is so loose and the timelines and everything else are so abstract. This wasn't among the imagery that I associate with the Tall Man and his chrome orb of death.

Wow, I don't remember a little mini box monster in Phantasm at all. It seems like Don Coscarelli, has a bit of a "thing", for including these little nasty "fellas", into his movies, where as much later, Bruce Campbell, would go on to fight another evil bug: Anyway, speaking of Phantasm (1979), I just picked it up (for the third time), but this on Blu-ray (Arrow Films) and will soon give it another visit, as it remains surely among one of my all time favorite horror films of the 70s.

Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama Yep, that is the one. Or soon to be "twice", if I remember it corect. As a sequel/follow up, where supposedly gonna be made or released this year, and to be directed by none other, than Michelle Bauer. Anyway, I was very pleased at how fun and campy the first one, turned out to be.

I'm gonna assume I'm wrong because it would be too obvious, but: The Autopsy of Jane Doe?

I'm gonna assume I'm wrong because it would be too obvious, but: The Autopsy of Jane Doe? It’s not The Autopsy of Jane Doe. Though just like Jane Doe it’s definitely a more recent film (,say within the last 5 years).

I'll, again, assume that I might be off on thinking that it's a movie set entirely or primarily in a hospital, but could it be The Cure for Wellness?

The practical fx was cool to see and there were memorable set-pieces here and there. But as a whole, it was a mess of borrowed ideas/styles, and a real disconnect between the plot and characters. So it would be interesting to see if on a rewatch I lighten on my initial thoughts, or simply double down.

I was really excited for this and felt a bit short changed. I'd happily watch a sequel though.
