Yes, well done. Didn't think I'd given that much away yet. I didn't even particularly care for this movie, but it's got a nice look to it.

Yes, well done. Didn't think I'd given that much away yet. I didn't even particularly care for this movie, but it's got a nice look to it. The first was pic was giving me Victorian era vibes. So I was thinking something along the lines of Jack the Ripper or Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. However your modern film clue and the pendulum in the second picture had me thinking of this film. I remember being lukewarm on it too. Visually it stood out with its doom and gloom, but the murder mystery story didn’t have the same impact. Honestly the plot details are a distant memory.

Not ‘Dark Harvest’, but it is a two word title.

Hallowed Ground?
Not sure about that one but everything coming to mind only counts as two words if I include 'The' which I don't think is what you meant.

Not Hallowed Ground. ‘The’ is not in the title. I remember when the film came out (2000’s) it had a bit of buzz, but now long forgotten. So maybe it’s a cult film, I’m not too sure. I initially came across the film on the IMDb horror board. Sort of a flavour of the week. As for the director, it was his debut and he made only one more film (horror) thus far. Which was well over a decade ago.

Clue: there’s a type of animal in the title.

Spot on. Worth a watch? I was fixated on the scarecrow, which doesn't seem to be a huge part of it... but young Michael Shannon has me intrigued.
