One thing I was thinking of doing is posting where I saw each movie ( i.e. Netflix, YouTube, etc) which might be of help to anyone looking for suggestions and where to find the flick.

Just mentioning that Shudder.com has a seven day free trial with no obligation to join. So for a week you may get a few first-time views in for free. Also I think Gourmando the Reindeer suggestion to colour code entries is a good one. May I suggest red for first time and blue for repeats.

My first two new viewings are two that eluded me in the 80s; Witchboard and a slasher called Final Exam.
So it looks like we have a pretty good turn-out this year. Happy viewing, everyone!

I'm going to start with a deficit as husband is off next two days and my chances of watching horror is nil.
That said I just rented US on Google Play ( I have 30 days to watch) which will be a first time viewing and discovered that Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things is available on Amazon Prime! This will be a multiple repeat viewing.
Btw Is Crawl (the recent alligator in a hurricane movie) considered horror as I may rent that as well.

Rather than clogging up the progress thread... cybajedi I noticed you saw Endless...if you enjoyed it I suggest you catch Resolution, the directors' first film...don't read up on it first..just watch it...as soon after Endless as you can.

Damn! It's just past 03:30 in Blighty here and I caught the end of Outpost:Rise of the Spetsnaz(2013) on TV (Horror +1) and I haven't seen it. So it doesn't count! But a film I haven't seen is about to start on the same channel: The Gauntlet (2013). However, a habit I do have is watching a film and realizing halfway thru that I've seen it! I hope this doesn't happen with this film as I tend to do this with films on TV.

Thanks for the recommendation sostie, I'll see if I can get my hands on a copy.

Does 'What Lies Beneath' (2000) count as a horror film?
It's been lying in my unwatched DVD pile for some time.

Two learned people of this board have declared 'What Lies Beneath' a horror.
That'll do for me.
I shall get it watched after evening mass today, and add it to my FTV tally 👍
