My college friends and I are off to our 25th annual college football game get together this weekend: Texas Tech at Oklahoma. The 25 places we've traveled to over the years:
1995: Baylor
1996: Navy (at Philadelphia - - Army vs Navy!)
1997: Michigan
1998: Mississippi State
1999: Syracuse
2000: Stanford
2001: Maryland (had tickets to Florida State-Georgia Tech that year - - September 15. Game cancelled because of 9/11. Never forget.)
2002: Louisiana State
2003: Colorado
2004: Pittsburgh
2005: Arizona
2006: Memphis
2007: UNLV (friend's bachelor party tied in)
2008: Penn State
2009: UCLA
2010: Virginia
2011: Boise State
2012: Miami
2013: Texas A&M (while Manziel was playing)
2014: Wisconsin
2015: North Carolina
2016: Oregon
2017: Mississippi
2018: Auburn
2019: Oklahoma
One of the three best weekends of every year. Going to be in Oklahoma City Thursday through Sunday. 11 am local time game, though - - and OU is, for the first time this year, selling alcohol in the stadium (and every bar and restaurant within 2000 feet of the stadium can sell to-go beers). Fox's gameday will be there - - can't wait!
