I picked that up for a quid two weeks ago in a charity shop.
Haven't seen it since I was a kid so looking forward to revisiting it as I remember loving it......although all I can recall is James Mason....great colour and some dinosaurs.

Indeed. Classic 'Lost World' adventure movie. It's on Fox Movie Channel at least once a week. Some posited that Spielberg and Lucas lifted some familiar scenes in Raiders of the Lost Ark from this movie. Namely the rolling boulder and the scene where a ray of light moves the plot forward.

When I was little, I would watch this one every time it aired on tv.
Ever notice how they didn't see any monsters until after they ate the giant mushrooms?
