where self interest
was the brew
and only
jesus knew
when to divest

petroleum fused mess
you'd gotten

so when a child
points out
right on cue
that a certain planet
is frying
you either
ratchet up the boo hoo hoo
or ask
your living savior
what in the hell
are we
supposed to do.
