Goddamn Harmonica. Can't you play anything else? Please at least try Camptown Races or Oh Susanna! It got so repetitive and boring that I started to FF as soon as I heard that shit just so I wouldn't have to keep on hearing that shit.
Anyone else agree that it is just too fucking much?

I think that general score/tune helps amp it up p.s. currently that movie is only one of seven movies I gave a 10/10.

Not sure if you're a moron or doing that thing where saying or doing stupid shit is supposed to pass for humor.

I think it's great. The music is foreshadowing the discovery that Harmonica was created by Frank.
Most sublime movie viewing I have seen in many years. It's operatic. The music was composed before the film was shot so I think it is very much about the images being designed for the music.
Warren Peace you should appreciate the ecological aspect to the film--water is the life force/focus of desire through the whole story. The water on the gunfighter's hat, McBain's Sweetwater well, Jill's bath, Cheyenne's coffee, Frank's spit, Morton's ocean, and Harmonica's childhood tears for a brother he is too weak to save, and the water Jill pours out for the railroad workers at the end.

Harmonica does get pretty loud during the first 2/3rds of the movie but that's only because you have no idea why hes playing it. The epic final duel is when you realize why and it's amazing.

I liked it. But after the sensational beginning, the film does drag a bit. I guess it's the sort of film that needs to be viewed on the big screen and not on the laptop or the TV screen.
Morricones score was the films highlight.

It feels it’s length but so many parts are excellent. Frank is great. Harmonica is great. The other guy...can’t think of his name...but he had the crew that wore yellow dusters...he was great. Claudia Cardinals was smokin hot. Great opening sequence. Great score.
It’s only flaw is that it feels as long as it is.

A+ ...my #16 all time.
Re-watches & DVD commentary helped me soak in its grandeur. Its balance between sombre dramatics & uplifting entertainment is tremendous. The more I watch it, the less self important it feels. I feel like the Dollars Trilogy, that I love, went for fun entertainment first... & classics like John Wayne were a tad pretentious.
