First of all, I would have this reboot mention the events from the original franchise. Anyway here are my choices if they ever reboot Scream: Crew: Director: Mike Flanagan Writer(s): Mike Flanagan and Jeff Howard Producer(s): Jason Blum Cast: Hailee Steinfeld Grant Gustin Alexandra Daddario John Karna (He was on the first 2 seasons of the Scream TV show) Cole Sprouse (He plays Skeet Ulrich’s son on the show Riverdale) Katherine Langford Calum Worthy Kate Siegel Michael C. Hall What does everyone think? Who would your cast and crew be? I am actually not really in favor of a " SCREAM" Reboot. I am definitely in favor of a "SCREAM 5" though and if it is alright with you, I do have a Cast and Crew that I could answer for it. Is that okay ?

Patrick Dempsey (Detective Kincaid) - The Main Killer will actually put Kincaid's Head in a box and then send it to Sidney (the Main Killer would do it as a tribute to the twist ending of "SE7EN") in Woodsboro and also to hurt Sidney both mentally and emotionally.

THE KILLERS (for the first time, there would actually be 3 Killers, I don't think anybody would expect that)
Marley Shelton - (Deputy Judy Hicks) - She'll be the Surprise Main Killer, The Twist with her will be that she was Stu's secret lover and not only was she also aware that Stu & Billy were killing people (she would reveal that Stu never told Billy that he had a partner of his own) but she was also involved in it (there will be a flashback scene to the beginning of the first movie to that moment when Drew Barrymore (Casey) pulls off the Killer's Mask, we see that it was actually Marley Shelton, and then in the next moment, we see from a distance Casey's parents screaming as they spot her hanging from a tree dead and then the camera pans to left and we see both Marley Shelton and Matthew Lillard standing there together with Lillard holding and hugging Shelton from behind as they watch from the woods). She would also reveal that the reason why she never tried to kill Sidney when she first came back to Woodsboro (in "SCREAM 4") was because of the Killing Spree that Jill and Charlie went on which she never expected and was a total surprise to her (she was not involved with Jill & Charlie's Killings or aware that it was them at all until the end when it was all over). She then reveals that she did the 2 killings at the beginning to send a message to hurt Sidney mentally and emotionally.
Danielle Panabaker - (as Gale Weather's niece, also a Deputy) - It will be revealed that she is Judy's lesbian lover who she seduced into helping her.
Sophia Lillis - (as a Photographer, Paparazzi Member) - She will be the one who secretly follows and tracks Sidney's every move and helps Marley & Danielle always stay 1 step ahead of her, She will also be involved because Marley & Danielle made a deal with her to pay her lots of money (Lillis will actually not have killed anybody) which it will later be revealed by Marley that she and Danielle never had any intention of honoring that deal, that they just used her, and then Marley would take her out (just like how Mrs. Loomis took out Mickey in "SCREAM 2" and Jill took out Charlie in "SCREAM 4"). -----------------------------------
So what do you think of it ?

I like it. I like the idea of having Robert Englund involved. He should have his Freddy Krueger claw to stop one of the Ghostfaces. I also like the twist about Judy Hicks as well.

Do you think having 3 Killers is a bit too much (also all 3 of them being female) or do you think it is also a Good Twist ?

You're welcome and it's a good twist. Awesome, Thank You for that as well. Also, I updated my Cast and Crew list a little bit and I added Danielle Harris as "Kincaid's Partner Detective" who would also get killed (with Kincaid) at the Beginning.
Do you think she is a pretty good addition to it as well ?
I was thinking about it being either her or Heather Langenkamp.

Also I actually don't think she really even acts that much anymore, I may be wrong about that though.

She can be Sidney's aunt or stepmother. What about Eliza Dushku, Katee Sackhoff, Michael Ironside, or Tricia Helfer ?

If you don't mind me asking you (also if you think I have been asking you WAY TOO MANY questions then please let me know and I'll apologize), Do you yourself have a Cast and Crew for a "SCREAM 5" if they actually did decide to make a Sequel ?
I would definitely love to know what you'd like to see in a 5th Movie.

You're not being annoying. Looking at my OP, I would have Mike Flanagan as the director, Mike Flanagan and Jeff Howard as the writer(s) and Jason Blum as the producer(s). But if Mike and Jeff aren't available, I would bring back Kevin Williamson as the writer and Jonathan Craven (Wes Craven's son) as the director. As for the cast, I would have Michael C. Hall to play Sidney's husband, Hailee Steinfeld as Sidney's daughter, and Dane DeHaan as Sidney's son. I would then have Cole Sprouse (who plays Skeet Ulrich’s son on the show Riverdale) as Hailee Steinfeld's character's boyfriend, John Karna to play a character similar to his character from the Scream TV show, and Katherine Langford as the best friend of Hailee Steinfeld's character. Since Michael C. Hall and Dane DeHaan played twisted characters before, you would think they would be the new Ghostfaces, but it turns out that Sidney's daughter is the new Ghostface. The reason why I pick Sidney's daughter is because she's sick and tired of people pretending to be her friend when all they want to do is meet her mom. Unlike Jill, she doesn't want to be famous and become the new Sidney Prescott, she wants to be her own person. She doesn't want to be known as the daughter of a survivor. I picked Wes Craven's son because I feel like it would be continuing his legacy. It's still a young family member you expect to be the new Sidney revealed to be the killer, the motive is just inversed a bit. And if she doesn't want to be seen like her mom, how does being involved in another killing spree accomplish this goal? Out of those, a secret accomplice sounds the best, but I dont think the killer needs to be related to anybody. It could always just be a new character with a self-contained motive. |
