No not even slightly, see what he is doing is mocking you for your own hypocrisy and stupidity seeing as how the poop jokes were the major thing you and others labelled as childish and immature in GOTG 2, yet when Venom makes a poopy joke you seem to think of it as mature and serious content aka you are being hypocritical as well as intellectually challenged.
See because whilst those with a functioning brain can accept a movie is both mature and has silly humour in it at times, the mentally impaired such as yourself follow a binary "dis meens itz adulted und dis meens itz knot daaah" type of criteria, see whilst the American Pie films feature sexual humour and situations as well as some filthy comedic material in them they aren't "mature" films they are for older audiences with an appreciation for juvenile humour, Venom is not a mature movie, it's silly and brash and funny, I really enjoy it but it's not mature at all neither is GOTG but GOTG does have much more mature themes and moments.
There are no mature elements. Guardians has toliet jokes, forced humor and villians being beat by dancing. Venom is nowhere near that Volume 1 had no toilet jokes, it also had Rocket's outburst of being made into a monster and showed the scars of what he had been through, Quill's emotional connection to the last vestige of his human life and his inability to move past that point of his life and acceptance of his mothers passing as evident by a 30 years unopened present, Groot's selfless sacrifice to save his new family, and the group including the Ravagers coming together to prevent a genocide by a war crazed zealot, Vol 2 delved deeper into Peter's parental issues, Rocket's inability to let people in and his emotionally sabotaging his relationships once he starts feeling close to people, the sisterly bond and abuse suffered at the hands of Thanos of Nebula & Gamora, Yondu's sacrifice to save his boy showing Peter he always had a father who did love him, which resulted in Yondu being forgiven by his fellow Ravagers for past sins, and Peter learning his own father murdered his mother.
Sure Vol 2 had some poop jokes but well we have established via Venom poop jokes alone don't disqualify a movies seriousness right? also no one was defeated by dance off, that's a lame jab idiots and the mentally disabled types like yourself use to bash Vol 1, but Ronan was not beaten by a dance off, he was distracted by Peter singing and dancing so Rocket could reassemble his rocket launcher, then was destroyed by the full power of an infinity stone...why can you not understand this?
And again not saying Vol 1 or 2 are "mature" movies they simply have more mature themes and moments than Venom which really had no theme and made some poop jokes, Tom Hardy jumping into a lobster tank, Venom calling Eddie a pussy, later asking him if he could eat a poodle or something just moments after revealing they were lying about Venom being "dead" so that they could emotionally manipulate Eddie's ex to get back with him which is played up as a good thing...where is the maturity? I mean it's a fun and whacky movie and I love it but it is in no way mature at all.

Yet he never claimed those movies were mature or need to be. You claimed Venom is mature. So who is the hypocrite here? How is the X-verse nowadays? Oh wait a minute... So they are movies for the kids gotcha ☺☺ Im not concerned who the target audience is. If I like a movie I like it. If I dont I dont. Im not so concerned with maturity either. Im not insecure like that.

Yep pretty much, Marvel, DC, X-men, comedic, serious, light, dark, comic accurate, comic not accurate etc. Doesn't really concern me, I'll watch the movie and if I like it cool, if I don't...oh well. I like Spider-man 3 and that movie gets really crapped on....I do not get why though.

Well, I remember around 2014 or so, Kevin Smith only half joked that MCU & Star Wars might one day co-exist. That's obviously a no-go, not least of all some of the SW jokes uttered by MCU characters. I suppose this MCU-Sony thing is as close to that though.

So you admit Venom is an immature movie then? Not even close Really? Because this scene here doesn't seem really to ooze with maturity if you ask me and anyone else on the planet, Or this one, Or any of these in this compilation(Hey, somebody made a compilation why would an oh so mature movie inspire such videos? Where's the ones for Se7en, Silence of the Lambs, or Heat?) So tell us thenewnexus where is this mature movie you keep telling us about?

Pretty sure that's what Marvel was thinking when they made that scene. That they were trying to fuck him up? Sony had that clause that if SFFH didnt make $1 billion, Sony would get the character back. Then it made a billion Damnit. So they went to plan B. It is apparently moving forward through Amy Pascal who was a major mover in the origunal deal.

Oh, no "They" is Sony Over on the Brie Larsen hate thread They used Marvel to revamp Spidey. When the movie made a billion, they hardlined negotiations

Pretty sure that's what Marvel was thinking when they made that scene. That they were trying to fuck him up? No, they didn't fuck up Spider-Man but they made a story line that SONY alone could not find a convincing way out of for Spider-Man without MCU connections and implications. Just like you said.

That they were trying to fuck him up? No, they didn't fuck up Spider-Man but they made a story line that SONY alone could not find a convincing way out of for Spider-Man without MCU connections and implications. Just like you said. Thing is from things I have heard being talked about Sony were going to be in trouble trying to do that no matter what, how do you rectify every event of the MCU not taking place in the Spidey universe once Sony took him back, and apparently the events of the MCU Spidey films are included in this, which also includes any cosmetic looks, so no blue or black Stark suits, no Iron Spider, no all black get up and so on.
So Sony would have been needing to do a soft reboot of the series with the same actor, which would be against what they want as Sony as we saw with Venom were keen in trying to trick people into thinking their movies were tied to the MCU.
End of the day it's on Sony as they had final approval and so they agreed with the storyline and ending, why they let that go in I do not know but it's like do you blame Marvel for giving themselves an out for Spidey not being around or blame Sony for not thinking wait how do we explain the MCU not being around?
Disney being devious and Sony being clueless true to form for both.
