Would you like to live forever?

Would you like to live forever? We're assuming I can't kill myself even if I want to, right? Well, as long as I'm guaranteed to stay fit and healthy, I guess I'd take the chance. Oblivion holds no attraction.

I have no desire to die.
I saw the no aging option. If I still age and wither away then I guess the answer would be no, I don;t want to live forever.

Yes, if I can selectively erase memories from time to time.

Would you like to live forever? True immortality would be the most horrific thing imaginable. What do you do when all the other humans have evolved into something unrecognisable? What do you do after all other life on Earth goes extinct? What do you do a million trillion years from now, when the universe is nothing but an expanding cloud of particles a fraction of a degree above absolute zero, and you're still alive and floating in absolute nothingness for all eternity? No thanks. Now limited immortality, on the other hand. Give me the Highlander model, I say. You get to live for thousands of years, you get to stay young, you get to be all but immune to injury or accident... but if you get too bored to live, you also get a way out. Skip the head-chopping mind-reading part of it all, though.

Someone said I was immortal just yesterday.
No, wait, they might have said immoral 🤔

For the people that would: do you want to for love of life or for fear of death?

For the people that would: do you want to for love of life or for fear of death? why fear death unless you love life? That said, living is awesome.

The thing is we already do live forever (because when we die here on earth we ultimately end up in either Heaven or hell), just not in this life.
but assuming you mean we were to be immortal here on earth... I am not sure as I am sure it would be nice in a way, given all of the stuff we could see over the centuries etc, but at the same time I am not sure because if those you like die and you never do, that's not going to be any good.

Redundant question. We ARE immortal. What evidence do you base this on?

Redundant question. We ARE immortal. What evidence do you base this on? One would have to define immortal first, and for most people it would mean human. Meh!
