What evidence do you base this on? One would have to define immortal first, and for most people it would mean human. Meh! Immortal means never dying, living forever. Every human experiences death. So what on earth are you talking about?

I have no desire to die. ... You are the reason that religion exists. "Come to Kingdom Hall/church/mosque several times a week and let Yahweh control your life. If you do as I direct, I promise you eternal life." What they really mean is "let ME control your life". Where do they get the power to promise you eternal life? If life is eternal, it's eternal in the past as well as the future. Do you remember what you were doing 200 years ago? Well you'll be doing exactly the same thing 200 years from now.

I’m not religious based on fear of death. I’m not afraid to die just because I love living. Our lives are controlled and directly all the time with people specifically telling us what we need to do o stay alive or safe. I guess you could say that I’m the reason any form of human government or any kind of guidelines exist. |
