If there are other civilizations out there, which there almost certainly are, I'd say probably not. I could be wildly wrong, but if there's intelligent beings with similar binocular vision and a sense of smell that doesn't involve inhaling the scent then they probably have some sort of smellovision movies. If there are beings with panoramic vision then I'd imagine that movies would be less popular because they need to be seen alone. Even if they had special ocular equipment you'd bump into other people while using it or would be left quite vulnerable so I'd say that it would be less popular with them then something that could be enjoyed together. I don't know what the intelligent beings who don't have good sight would do if they entertain themselves.
I vaguely remember a film or TV show which implied that one answer to the Fermi Paradox was that ETs have been picking up transmissions of our films and TV shows for years and love them so much that they stay hidden so as not to corrupt our culture in order to keep it unique and interesting to them.
