Prestige Inception Those stand out. By far the worst is Dark Knight Rises. Respectfully, I am going to have to disagree.
I think the ending of "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES" is 1 of the Best Batman Movie Endings ever.

It sucked. Definitely one if the worst. It made the rest of the movie sucky. It was one of the few films to have a bona fide plot hole.

This is always an interesting experiment. How did Batman survive? He didn't. Bruce Wayne did. The way i see it the ending is the death of Batman and the re-birth of Bruce Wayne.

Anyone can see it any way they choose. The people that like the ending don't even like it for the same reasons. Maybe the movie does suck and I am lying to myself in order to be happy.

Maybe the movie does suck and I am lying to myself in order to be happy. I don't have that much of a problem with the ending.... if you're happy with a "THIS IS HOW BATMAN ENDS" sorta thing... which is fine for a full cinematic arc. It's just by the time you get to the ending... You've sat through some of the worst writing in cinema for 2 hours.. and you just pray for it to be over...

This is always an interesting experiment. How did Batman survive? Survive what, the blast at the end? The traditional interpretation is that he put the Bat on autopilot which flew out the nuke to detonate.

Overall, I just really have to respectfully disagree with those who are saying that "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES" is a Terrible Movie.
You have every right in the world to your own feelings and opinions but so do the people that did like the Movie.
That being said, I liked "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES" and I actually consider it to be My Number 1 Favorite Batman Movie (before I first saw it, My Number 1 Favorite Batman Movie was actually a Tie between "BATMAN BEGINS" and "BATMAN: MASK OF THE PHANTASM").

It's a entertaining movie but I can understand why people may not like it because there are a lot of problems with the plot.

Christopher Nolan ends movies with a trademark montage of events, usually with a voice over narration assisted by a score. What is your favorite ending montage of his (not best film overall)
The Dark Knight Inception Interstellar Dunkirk The Dark Knight Rises The Prestige
I can't remember if he did a similar ending with Memento. 'Following' is Nolan's best movie ending. No montage but it's his best.

Even if it were there is not enough connective tissue to make sense of the ending. We have to write/rewrite the entire final act.

i was loving it until the ending. But that ending wiped out at least a half hour of story. Everything prior to it became retroactively less interesting.
