Ironically, he only made the new Jay and Silent Bob movie because he couldn't make Clerks 3 (or Mallrats 2). I guess they're not even trying to hide who didn't want to come back anymore.
I suppose that's why they're chucking the original script they had - it was repurposed to be a Jay and SB movie.
So I'm not sure I should be looking forward to either. One is a Frankenstein's monster that went from Clerks to Mallrats to Jay and SB, the other is being written on the fly just because Anderson finally pulled the stick out of his ass.

I used to like Kevin Smith years ago. Now he is just an asshole who exploits his loyal fanbase by serving them shit, expecting them to pay for it and leave a tip.  Oh...and he is a brown-nose CBM shill. |

Yeah I'll be avoiding Jay & Silent Bob Reboot, but I'm willing to give Clerks III a shot. I thought Clerks II would be awful, and when I got around to watching it I thought it was much better than anticipated.

I like Kevin Smith a lot, but Tusk, Yoga Hosers and the Jay & Silent Bob trailer have just left me completely deflated when it comes to ever being excited to see him return to Clerks, and it also leaves me with the question of who actually directed Red State?

I watched Jay & Silent Bob reboot yesterday and he should bury Clerks 3 and Mallrats 2 and focus on something original, like Moose Jaws. Damn that movie was a disappointment.

I was late to the Kevin Smith fanpage so i never took to him like a lot of people my age did...so id watch Clerks 3 but i wouldn't expect gold.

Would rather Mallrats 2 had come together...I like the way things were left at the end of Clerks 2... Same Here, Mallrats 2 seems more interesting.
