Wow. It started out pretty good (Yeti is super cute), but as it went on, it just got too feel good. I felt like rainbows were flying out of my ass. I think the optimal age range for the audience is 3 to 6. And the Yeti song got annoying too.

Well, here we see an example of opinions being like nether apertures...everybody's got one. I, like you, thought it started out pretty good...but unlike you, I thought it got better and better. If you truly thought the optimal age for audience is that young, then I think you really missed a lot. Mind you, I think very young children would love Everest (which, by the way, is the name Yi gave the character, not "Yeti"; I feel pretty sure she would not called him by so generic a name, which would be like calling a canine "Dog" instead of "Rover" or whatever), but I think they might have been upset by some of the more violent aspects of the action. Let me ask you a question: would you have felt the same way about the movie if it had been exactly the same except for one change: the genders of Yi and Jin had been reversed? Do you think you would have liked it better? Incidentally, I just popped over to Rotten Tomatoes and while some reviewers agree with your age range assessment, others consider it fit for the whole family, including adults. So either one of us can cite critics who share our viewpoints. There goes that opinion thing again...

The joy was so mind numbing I honestly felt like I had just done 3 whip its and had an entire bag of Skittles shoved down my throat (bag included). I was so overwhelmed, I fell asleep with a glowing rainbow colored sludge dribbling out of my mouth onto my tshirt. obviously I was not referring to him by name, I knew it was everett. like what, getting hit in the face by a giant blueberry? ::laugh:: ummm sure, why not?

Um...not quite. Yi was looking at a billboard that depicted what she figured was the yeti's home--Evere st. But that was close. Not at all...in fact, I bet most kids would love seeing someone get hit in the face with giant blueberries...in fact, I bet a lot of them would love to be hit in the face that way--or at least they think they would. Kinda sounds like something you'd see on Nickelodeon, don't you think? But I will also bet that many kids would be upset by seeing Everest getting shot full of tranqs...or watching Yi get thrown to her doom by the evil doctor. (Of course, we adults would know that she--being the heroine--can't die...but little kids wouldn't know yet about that convention.) Interesting...
