meh. he's 63. it's one of the reasons i don't want joe maddon either. i want a skipper who's not just making a quick pitstop and out the door off to retirement joe girardi is 54. hire him - hopefully they're successful and he sticks around for a decade and he rides off into the sunset at 64. At least Buck is a smart baseball guy and not some numbskull like Kapler. How old was Charlie Manuel in 2008? probably around the same age as Buck
