Leafs are a team built on speed and skill yet continuing what went on all season in their first game against Columbus, they looked no faster or talented. Throw in that they are easy to push around and no threat to an opponent's health and I have my doubts in any playoff success. Meanwhile Kadri scored the gamewinner for Colorado last night with 0.1 seconds left in the game, the latest in league history. Leafs' core is fine. It's surrounding them with guys like Jason Spezza that probably won't cut it. Good bounce back game. |

First pick awarded to one of the eight teams eliminated from this “play in” round. Exactly which team will be determined in the second phase of the lottery. All eight eliminated teams have an equal chance. Could be NYR; could be Chicago or Pittsburgh... |

As of now the Penguins are getting knocked out of the playoffs straight into the Lafrenière sweepstakes. Losing 1-0 to Montréal with two minutes to go and stand to be eliminated with the loss.
