Fox's ad is hysterical. It's littered with old stars - Austin, The Rock, Undertaker, Flair. I wonder if some old school viewers that haven't tuned in for ages are going to tune in tonight as a result. Apparently The Rock is going to make an appearance tonight as well as some other old school fan favorites. Curious to see if fans stick with it next week - as next week they'll be getting like 3 chick matches and some ham & egger as champ who weighs 150 lbs. and has the personality of mayonnaise

I thought Razor Ramon's real name is (was?) Scott Hall.
Then again, I know as much about rasslin' as I do about chicken farming in Outer Mongolia...

Glory days. Muraco had bloodbaths with Snuka. Freebirds were revolutionary - i.e. 'Freebird Rules' where any 2 members of the 3 could hold the tag team straps and defend it - later used by the nWo (wolfpack - Hall, Nash, Syxx). Love youtubing their old school WCCW days warring with the Von Erichs.

Love youtubing their old school WCCW days warring with the Von Erichs. I remember watching the match where Muraco ate a meatball sandwich while he was beating some scrub on a Saturday morning match. Saturday was a great day for a kid digging wrestling in the 80s. In the morning, you'd get 2 hours of WWF, then an hour of Texas stuff (Von Erichs, Freebirds, Jim Gervin, Chris Adams, an occasional Flair sighting), then around suppertime TBS would show two hours of Georgia rassling (Road Warriors, Legion of Doom, Tommy Rich, Ole Andersen, an occasional Flair sighting). I remember the Piper's Pit when he picked up a midget, flipped him over, and spun him on his head. To this day, one of the greatest things I've ever seen on television.

Ever see when Piper cut The Haiti Kids (midgets) hair? Hysterical A raving lunatic in a kilt and a hillbilly in a cowboy hat basically torturing a black midget on live tv. Chances of that happening on television these days? I'm gonna say slim.....

Sad to hear.
I hope the Undertaker will die of old age in the distant future.
