Folks, it's over. The NBA has something on their hands unlike anything we have ever seen in sports. Godzilla, the Terminator, Jason all could be stopped and defeated. This thing can't.
Last night I saw for the first time the new Los Angeles Lakers take to the court. It was stunning. Frightening. LeBum and Anthony Davis. My God. I can honestly say to you - and this is not an exaggeration - the Lakers will not lose a game this season. And that includes all playoff games and sweeping The Finals. And it's worse than that. The Lakers will not lose a game for the next five years!
LeBum was pretty damn good to begin with. Now he is playing with the greatest player he has ever played with. What they were doing together last night was almost illegal. It should not be allowed. They were that good.

They were OK. Having Danny Green pop threes from the outside, McGhee and Dwight Howard coming in as subs, Rondo and Dudley at the point, they have potential.
Now it's off to China for a game on Thursday for some goddamn reason. The NBA just had a preseason game in India, why?

They'll lose some games and it's certainly much too early to say they'll win the title, much less five of them. You also have to take into account AD's regularly scheduled injury run which I'm sure the Lakers already have on the schedule.

A force the likes of which the sports world has never seen. Did you watch the game? They were up like 16-0....against the WARRIORS! LeBum and Davis single-handedly can beat the entire league, but the players you pointed out make them completely unbeatable. Yeah, the China and India and London and Spain and wherever games are getting out of control. Training camp and you have to fly off to China? That's so unfair to those players and teams.

curious to see what their supporting cast does
i think Avery Bradley is 1/2 the defender he was years ago on the Celts - but that's still pretty damn good and he can also pop an outside shot
always wanted him on the Sixers and i thought it was a late great pick up for the Lakers
curious to see how they handle turmoil - i.e. let's say they drop 3 in a row - if we'll eventually start to see passive aggressive LeBron sending mixed signals and passive aggressively throwing shade in a certain direction - and how AD handles pretty much being LeBron's 'Robin' even though LeBron has stated he's passing the torch. that will never happen IMO - as long as LeBron is there - it's always 'his' team and nobody elses
