"After writing a tell-all book about her days in the dance troupe "Barry Nichols and Les Girls", Sybil Wren (Kay Kendall) is sued for libeling her fellow dancer Angele (Taina Elg). A Rashômon (1950)-style narrative presents the story from three points of view. Sybil accuses Angele of having an affair with Barry (Gene Kelly), while Angele insists that it was actually Sybil who was having the affair. Finally, Barry gives his side of the story." The trial connects the three stories.

Here's an image from the aforementioned Judgment At Nuremberg. Young Maxmillian Schell puts on quite a show. In one scene he reads a defense of forced sterilization which in the context of the film seems like something written by Goebbels or Himmler. He triumphantly notes the words were written by Oliver Wendell Holmes in the Buck v Bell case (1927).
