i guess the Cards were right about Rosen couldn't happen to a nicer guy. i remember what a giant d-bag he was when he was drafted stating all the teams that passed him up made a giant mistake.

Maybe... He is in the worst possible scenario, so you can put it all on him. Not sure if he's a douche or not, but that attitude could help. Rodgers still holds on to all those teams passing on him.

And in QBR, he's behind Falk and Cam. But apparently Dak is #1, so...

Odd comment coming from the guy who loves Mayfield for taking pictures next to a sportscar with a tiger or whatever. I thought you loved theater and brash athletes. Anyway, I have no problem with a guy having confidence in himself. He has to back up the comments of course, but I'm not sure how Rosen's supposed to excel in the situations he's been in so far.

On a related note, I'm not one for overreactions but if I Were Cleveland I'd fire Kitchens right now. Surely there has to be someone out there that can at least get this offense on track? There's just too much talent there for them to be this bad. Maybe Mayfield isn't an NFL QB after all, but let's get a real coach in there and find out before they waste an entire season with this slob of a head coach blaming the players for blowout losses.

And in QBR, he's behind Falk and Cam. But apparently Dak is #1, so... QBR isn't a real stat. Neither is QB rating, which actually doesn't exist. Passer rating doesn't change if the QB fumbles 3 times or rushes for a 99 yard TD. It does take a hit if he throws a hail Mary 55 yards to end a half that gets picked off. And it rewards going 3-3 for 50 yards on a drive much more than going 1-3 for the same 50 yards. QBR can be fairly stupid in a few cases, and its lack of transparency is a major issue. But both together give a better picture over the long term than either alone.

You're right that it's passer rating and not QB rating, and that it's not a great metric either. But QBR is nonsense in that they don't disclose how it's calculated and that it's owned by one network, which is fucking stupid as hell.

He'd tell us, correctly so, that a QB can best be measured by the highest number of completions made on 2nd down. Or death163 who, god bless him, would declare that if you were drafted 1st overall, it automatically makes you better than everyone else, and the best anybody else could hope for would be to tie you, vis-a-vis also being drafted 1st. By way of example, Alex Smith is forever tied for being the best QB to ever play the game. Tom Brady doesn't deserve to sniff his shit. To simpler times. And simpler people.

I do love theater. The soap opera aspect of an athlete so to speak i.e. Baker, Manziel, Rosen doesn't bring that to the table IMO. His comments screamed to me he was bitter and came off a bit whiny to me. Bitter jaded people are some of the few in life who rub me the wrong way when I typically live by 'live and let live'. It's an ugly personality trait to have IMO.

They're drips. Something I've accused you being multiple times.
