I also definitely don't think that you and I are the only ones that feel that way. Would you agree ?

I liked it, to an extent. That said...
Dangerous Liaisons works in large part because of the time and society it was set in. That society had an immensely strict code of behaviour, and once publicly transgressed there was basically no way back. To be revealed to have manipulated people, to have caused a scandal, etc... that would destroy your life in society, forever. The taboos were real, they were serious business, and everyone treated them as such.
Today society is far more permissive. Almost everything Sarah Michelle Gellar's character did would hardly raise an eyebrow today. Seriously, having a bet with a dude about getting into some girl's pants? Even if she openly admitted it, who'd really care?
Her worst trouble would come from the drug involvement, and as a white girl from a rich family she'd likely get a suspended sentence at worst - if she ever wound up in a court at all, that is. Then she'd become an anti-drug activist selling a "don't go down the dark road I did, give your life to jesus because he saved me and can do the same for you" message. Six months down the line she'd be more accepted and popular than ever.
So yeah... the whole premise of the movie really doesn't work. But it's silly fun if you can ignore that.

I've always quite liked SMG as an actress - was a big Buffy fan when that was around, so I thought she was pretty good.

Reese Witherspoon is quite shapely! She really did look Stunning in it.
I think that both Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair also did as well.

That was a Really Great and Fun Show to watch and Sarah Michelle Gellar was Fantastic on it.
Honestly though, I think that out of all of the characters that were on that show.....My own Number 1 Favorite is actually 'Faith' (Eliza Dushku).

Yes, fully agree on that one. Do love an evil bad girl, and Faith was an awesome one.

Did you know they had plans to do just that? It was in the early discussion stages, but there was interest in doing it from the producers. But Dushku said she'd already played Faith for five years and wanted to move on and do something different, so she turned it down and went to do Tru Calling instead.

Did you know that after "DOLLHOUSE" was canceled, she then said that she would be open to returning as 'Faith' again ?
I think the reason why it didn't happen was because at that point, Joss Whedon was involved with MARVEL and "THE AVENGERS".

Yeah, everyone else had just moved on by then. And Dushku's reputation as an actress took a hit with Dollhouse. Whedon reckoned the show would give her the chance to act all sorts of different characters, displaying her range. Alas, most people thought that it kind of highlighted that she didn't actually have a whole lot of range.

Heck, I also still think that it is still not too late for her to return as 'Faith' and have her own Spin-Off Show but of course, I already know that I am all alone in that boat now that so much time has passed.
