It's been a while since I saw it but right now in the early scenes, the relationship between him and Messala is more suggestive than I remember.

I am not a particularly big fan of BEN-HUR, but if I was watching it "right now on TCM" I certainly wouldn't be interrupting my viewing to post on an internet message board from my phone, laptop or I-pad. Are you struggling to concentrate on the film? Do you struggle to concentrate in general?

It's called "multi-tasking". Try it some day.

Just finished it. It is a truly spectacular movie. I can't count how many times I've seen it.

It's called "multi-tasking". Try it some day. Lol. Multi-tasking is the story of my life policidal. But I don't multi-task while watching a movie, and I am not hooked on gadgets. On the other hand, I did once have sex with my missus while she was binge-watching a season of the Kiefer Sutherland-starring series 24. She was so hooked on the series I thought we might never have time to have sex again if we didn't multi-task. I must, however, point out that she lay on her stomach on the couch and I entered her from the rear, so we were both able to watch the screen at the same time as we were making love. Not sure I would want to have sex while watching BEN-HUR, though. I take my movie watching seriously and I once had to ask a very sweet young lady to refrain from handling my johnson in the cinema (it was empty and we were sitting in the middle rows) while we watching the Kurt Russell-starring thriller BREAKDOWN. There is a time and place for everything.
