I endorse remakes if its logical, like maniAc cop makes sense and so did westworld as well.

It mostly depends on the previous entries. Remaking a movie that feels dated or lacked the proper effects at the time seems reasonable. But the majority of remakes seem to be made simply to cash in on the originals popularity.
Sequels I have no problem with. Even if they're bad they don't ruin the original.

I'm definitely open to sequels and remakes. However, I do feel like Hollywood is going overboard with the number of sequels and remakes they are doing today. Look at The Fate of the Furious. I honestly liked the film, but 15 or so years ago an 8th film in a franchise would have been a joke. It would have gone direct to DVD if even that. But in 2017 an 8th film in a franchise can be a huge blockbuster movie that breaks records at the box office.
Like I said, I'm open to sequels and remakes. I honestly just get some entertainment out of what the producers/writers plan on doing next for a franchise/how these films do at the box office. But at a certain point, I think even mass audiences are going to start to demand something new. We're just in a phase of film history right now were sequels and remakes are highly popular.
