I love that the Nationals made it to the Series. I remember 1981 their only post season and apperance and 1994 when they could have won it all if it wasn't for the strike.
I just hope there are lots of Expos fans who've continued to follow the team and can enjoy this. It'd be even greater if they end up winning it all. Then baseball's most overrated player, who plays for the Phils now, can wonder "what if..." And at no point will he ever get a ring. That's awesome.

Did he have sexual relations with your mother or something? If he’s so overrated then why not save your hate for those doing the rating? He’s a good guy, no scandals, all-star caliber player. No one said or thinks he’s the best in the game, not even Bryce himself.

I hope the Gnats win the WS - going to make the divisional rivalry that much better - especially with the Harper side story for years. Going to be even better when Rendon signs here during the Winter Meetings. Wonder if we get Dusty Baker too. Go Gnats!

Dude, I like you, and when you go on and on and on about potential Philadelphia dynasties I'm always fascinated. But trust me about one thing, you don't want Dusty Baker. Just trust me on this, look elsewhere for your savior manager. Dusty ain't it, ask the Giants....or the Cubs....or the Reds....or the Nats...

Why would you ever want a division rival to win it all? It still makes no sense to me. That's like me saying that if the Eagles don't make it this year, I hope the Cowboys win it all. Dumb.

I'm thinking they're just throwing Dusty a bone. I was shocked - I read a piece that he may be interviewing because he had a good relationship with Harper. I thought it was the opposite - but I'm on the outside looking in so what do I know. They already interviewed Buck - maybe they'll go with him or Girardi.

You tend to see things in Blacks and Whites. There is no gray area for you. FIRE BAD! WATER GOOD! You need to go to 2nd level thinking here. It makes the games that much more intriguing and entertaining the next year. I'm sure you remember our Super Bowl year. Everybody circles 2 dates on the calendar. The Dallas Cowboys. Cowboys played here on New Years Eve. Now this could have been epic. 2 division rivals who hate each other potentially battling for position in the playoffs. Do you remember what happened? We sat Foles because we had our playoff seeding and the Cowboys sucked so hard they missed the playoffs. They beat us 6-0. It was worse than a preseason game. A game against the Cowboys had '0' intrigue and was brutal sitting through. I like my rivals to be good. So good - that if we don't win it - I hope they do. Because I love getting geared up to knock off the Champ. And it makes it that much sweeter when the champ is your division rival. But maybe you like beating up on the Redskins every year. Not me Bub - I like beating the best - and when the best if your rival - it's that much more glorious.

Go back in time and tell him if he signs that contract with the Phils, the Nats will go to the World Series without him. Guess what I think he'd do?

The last thing I want is the Cowboys winning anything. It is obvious for anyone else who is a fan of the Giants, Redskins, or Eagles. Would I like to beat up dem boyz every year? Heck yes!!!!

You do you Ace - and I'll do me Bigcat. I want to beat the best

If by "Somewhere Bryce Harper quietly weeps" you mean "Somewhere Bryce Harper is fucking 10/10 chicks, snorting the highest quality blow unadulterated by the slightest hint of baby laxative, and getting Bentley Blow Jobs" then yes, he's weeping his brains out.
