Which will be appreciated as the more memorable movie out of these 2 in years to come? Wonder Woman is marginally better rated amongst audiences on Rotten tomatoes and imdb. Imo I think WW is slightly overrated; I always have more desire to watch MoS over it. Gal Gadot is great but the movie doesn't have the same appeal that MoS does and I believe the latter will be remembered with more fondness.

For me Wonder Woman is mostly what Man of Steel should have been. Wonder Woman was also a period piece which kinda gives it a timeless feel.

Wonder Woman, since MOS has some product placement. Sears, anyone?

Which movie will age better? Wonder Woman. Man of Steel is a bigger movie, but I think Wonder Woman is a better movie that you can go back and watch fondly.

They're both my favorite DCEU installments but Wonder Woman seems more likely. As someone mentioned, the historical fantasy setting aids its timeless appeal. And let's be frank, there's really no divisiveness associated with it among fans or critics.

Not sure. WW was a better first time viewing but less appealing on repeated views...I actually struggled second time and gave up on the third. Man Of Steel was not so great FTV but I have revisted it more often and think perhaps may be looked upon more fondly in the future

Even though I liked MOS way better it's still more polarizing than WW so it probably won't age as well.

Wonder Woman, especially since it takes place during WW1, not whatever the current present day is.

Definately WW. There is absolutely no reason anyone should watch Man of Steel instead of the original Superman movie. The "Because it's newer" mentality won't apply in ten years time. It's like that King Kong movie in the 70s. It was an event movie then but no one now would reccomend it over the original. Same with 2005 Kong and Skull Island.

Plenty of fans believe him to be the definitive Superman. This is the problem I think, too many people cannot get over Christopher Reeves portrayal. He was a good Clark Kent/Kal El but Henry Cavill for me in MoS was the best adaptation of Superman we've had on screen.

WW was groundbreaking in that it was a female-lead superhero movie that was actually good. And it's the first big screen portrayal of the character. Both will give it longevity.
What's to remember about MoS? Even just six years later, the only thing people really talk about is the wanton destruction in the third act, which will probably be considered dated in 20 years. Will any kid from now have nostalgia for it like people do for Donner/Reeve? Do kids even like this movie in the first place, or just teens/grown guys who feel the edgy nihilism gives them validation for liking a Superman movie?

Caught last few minutes of Man of Steel again the other day. Still don’t like it. So much CGI violence that it quickly becomes dull, everything gray and gloomy.
So, yeah, Wonder Woman, which I actually liked.

I'm not sure how else the destruction of Metropolis is supposed to look other than gray, gloomy and a lot of concrete flying around.
